Job description

Roles and Responsibilities: Participate in Plan of Day Meetings communicating any environmental risks or concerns. This is a good opportunity to make your site team aware of any upcoming regulatory inspections as well as weather updates and corrective action timelines, including completion status updates. Participate in morning safety meetings with subcontractors. Sharing an environmental topic that applies to the current scope of work is beneficial (weather, wildlife, SWPPP, regulatory inspections). Ensure good housekeeping practices in the work areas of your assigned subcontractor are taking place and verify that appropriate spill containment and waste disposal processes are being followed. Perform observations in active work areas to ensure that all risks have been assessed and proper control measures are in place. Closely inspect environmentally sensitive areas and determine if additional control measures are needed to prevent an environmental event. Communicate observations to the site team and verify that recommendations have been utilized.
