Job Title: Robotics Software Engineer II, Navigation Department: Robotics Engineering Level: L4 FLSA: Exempt Job Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for the robotics navigation stack, ranging from control, localization, mapping, path planning, all the way to high-level interaction decision making. The navigation stack is critical for our robot to drive autonomously, safely and smoothly. You will be working with the team to design, prototype, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve various algorithms of the navigation stack. You are expected to be highly autonomous and to lead technical directions. You are also expected to work with high-level product requirements, and to manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables with your technical expertise Key Duties/Responsibilities: - Work on our next generation navigation planner, integrating perception with path planning and navigation behavior - Quickly learn and adapt your skills to new projects - Own your projects from inception, to development, to deployment - Collaborate across teams to make your projects succeed - Performs other related duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities: - None Require...
