Job Summary: The Assistant Professor's responsibility encompasses education, research, and/or service. Demonstrates loyalty to the mission, policies, standards, and regulations of his/her department, school, and the University, and follows the administrative policies set up by the University and the individual school. Performs other duties as needed. Doctoral-prepared nurse educator to support teaching within our in-person Masters in Nursing Population Health Program and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) courses delivered in an online format. Education and Experience: Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree required. Minium two years full-time teaching experience in a graduate nursing program required. Demonstrated experience teaching prelicensure nursing courses, current approval from the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) to teach medical-surgical nursing and one additional nursing content area TBD. Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of current technology and educational media used in teaching and presentations.
