Job description
MAJOR FUNCTION: The Handyperson , under the direction of the Supervisor or Manager, is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across different areas of a facility. This role requires strong technical skills, the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems, and the capacity to work independently. Quality customer service skills are essential. Job Responsibilities: - Repairing and installing locks. - Some plumbing duties. - Assembly of furniture and hanging of pictures. - Great people's skills. - Must be able to work unsupervised. - Some porter work as needed. - Weekly meetings with facility manager to review various projects. - Maintenance and facility repair. - Attend to members of staff promptly when called upon. - Safety and security awareness. - Other routine maintenance duties as assigned.
