Job description
The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for all tasks necessary to accomplish the organization’s multi-state payroll processing objectives with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality. This position will process all payroll related time entry, tax deposits, reports, benefit deductions, W2s, and audit document requests. This is a Hybrid role. Requirements: - Process high-volume, multi-state payrolls accurately and in compliance with company policies and legal requirements (federal, state, and local). - Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, associate inquiries, and tax issues in a timely manner. - Calculate and process garnishments, levies, child support orders, and other involuntary deductions. - Partner with HR, HRIS, and Benefits teams to ensure accurate associate data. - Support payroll tax filing processes and assist with quarterly and year-end activities. - Assist with onboarding and offboarding payroll activities including final pay calculations and state-specific termination requirements. - Support payroll system updates, testing, integration and enhancements within UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management. - Contribute to process documentation, standard operating...
