Speech/Language PathologistIII PRN 260000UI Description Under the direction of the Speech Director/Division Chair, the Speech-Language Pathologist IV will be responsible to evaluate speech/language of children and provide remediation for children with communication disorders. Qualifications Minimum Education: Master's Degree Speech-Language Pathology (Required) Minimum Work Experience: At least 6 years experience as provider. Required Skills/Knowledge: Demonstrated flexibility in the evaluation process. Shows knowledge of counseling techniques. Shows empathy and caring. Demonstrates knowledge of theoretical application. Demonstrates knowledge of clutural and linguistic diversity. Must be available for student/trainee to shadow daily responsibilities. Triages questions from staff, outside hospitals and physicians. Involved in extra division project that promotes the enhancement and dissemination of speech knowledge (i.e., IRB committee member, organizer of specialty event, etc.) Required Licenses and Certifications: Speech-Language Pathologist.
