Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Position Purpose: In accordance with the Mission, Core Values and Vision; the Nurse Liaison Home Infusion will be a Registered Nurse responsible for assessing patients and their suitability for the Home Infusion program. This position will assume responsibility for verifying that appropriate pre-certification documentation is available to ensure reimbursement, quoting rates for therapy within established guidelines, and coordinating care with applicable agencies and the Mount Carmel Infusion Services pharmacy staff. This person will function with a high level of independent judgment, using skills and knowledge acquired through education and customer service expectations to enhance patient care. In addition, the nurse will contribute clinical expertise to organizational planning and decision-making and may also be involved in business development activities as they relate to business expansion or new program development.
