At Corbion, we exist to champion preservation in all its forms, preserving food and food production, health, and our planet. The Warehouse Technician is based at the Totowa, NJ plant and reports directly to a Warehouse Supervisor. This is a second shift position; shift is from 2PM - 10:30PM. Essential Functions: Follow all GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices), FSMA, Safety, and Environmental regulations as well as company policies. Be on time for work and report to your workstation ready to work at the set time. Adhere to break and lunch times. Maintain a positive attitude with a focus on safety, the customer. teamwork, and quality productivity. Reconfiguring pallets by picking multiple ingredients in warehouse and re-stacking the full units of ingredients onto another pallets. Full units may weigh as much as 55lbs. Weighing out various types of raw materials less than a full pack size according to formula. This entails using a scoop to transfer weight from one container to another. Work in a deliberate manner to achieve KPI’s in specific areas set by supervision. You need to wear proper PPE depending on the types of material you are working with. They will be provided for you.
