Contract Works Officer Permanent: Grade C - £35,412 - £41,771 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week: Birmingham City Council are seeking a proactive and experienced Repairs Contracts Works Officer to support the effective delivery and management of responsive repairs, maintenance, and capital works across the Council’s housing stock in the North of the City. The postholder will play a key role in ensuring repairs are delivered efficiently, contract performance is maintained, resident safety is prioritised, and service quality is consistently achieved. You will act as a technical and operational link between contractors, internal teams, and residents, ensuring works are completed to programme, budget, and required standards. This is an essential role in supporting the Council’s responsibilities as a landlord and maintaining safe, well-maintained homes.
