About Our Job This application is for the June 23, 2026, Non-Emergency Call Taker Academy. As a Non-Emergency Call Taker, you'll serve as the first point of contact for community members calling with non-emergency needs. Working in partnership with Denver 311, you’ll help people navigate city services and route them to the right resources with empathy and professionalism. The rate of pay for this position is $23.00 an hour.
