City/State Virginia Beach, VA Work Shift: Third (Nights) Overview: Sentara is currently hiring a Patient Care Technician to work at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital located in Virginia Beach on the Intensive Care Unit. Hours/Shift: Full-time, night shift. 7pm to 7am. Department/Position Overview: The ICU at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. If you’re looking for a fast-paced unit with a supportive team. As a Patient Care Technician with Sentara, you will have the opportunity to learn many new skills. From taking vitals to blood draws and daily care. The primary duties of this position include supporting the admission/discharge process, changing, bathing ambulating patients, drawing blood, foley catheter care, meeting patient needs while working under the direct supervision of a nurse.
