Hourly Pay Range: $33.16 - $49.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: Sign on bonus $10,000 for a 2 year commitment for full time - Position: Respiratory Therapist - Location: Evanston Hospital, Evaston, IL - Full Time 36 hours per week OR part time 20-24 hours per week available. - Shift: Evenings 3:00pm -11:30pm - Travel: No What you will need: - License: Licensed by the State of Illinois as a Respiratory Care Practitioner required - Education: Graduate of an CoARC approved school of respiratory therapy required - Certification: CPR (BLS) What you will do: - Assists Physicians, as requested with Respiratory Therapy procedures - Provide respiratory therapy to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients as ordered by physicians according hospital policy and procedures - Assess patients to determine most suitable method of administering treatment - Document treatment, equipment maintenance and quality control activities and transcribe verbal or phone order by physicians - Communicate to patient and family the treatment being performed in a clear manner - Monitor pa...
