The Williams College Children’s Center is hiring temporary assistant educators for Summer 2026! Do you enjoy spending time with young children? Are you someone who finds it exciting and interesting to help guide children in their exploration of the world around them? If so, apply to be a summer assistant educator at the Williams College Children’s Center! We guide and nurture children from age six weeks to five years old. All of our children and teachers enjoy time in nature as well as time in our classrooms. As teachers and educators, we are always encouraging the children to be critical thinkers and natural explorers! Come join our team! Summer Assistant Educators work 40 hours a week in classrooms, on a rotating-basis where needed, to support the nurturing care of children, curriculum, developmentally appropriate practice, child guidance and relationships with and amongst the children. They are essential members of every classroom team. While expected to provide support and coverage for multiple classrooms, they are also members of the collaborative team and offer ideas and contributions to team planning and practice when appropriate.
