Description Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking a dedicated Rheumatologist physician to join our faculty. This full-time position offers a dynamic mix of clinical care, teaching, and research in a collaborative academic setting. Clinical Work Sites: - East Jefferson General Hospital - LCMC Health: This academic and community health center is a 420-bed facility located in Metairie, LA with both inpatient and outpatient care- including the Tulane Multi-Specialty Clinic. Key Responsibilities: · Provide outpatient care in rheumatology. · Participate in consult services and provide care to patients with and without fellows-in training. · Supervise and mentor fellows-in-training in both outpatient and inpatient settings. · Provide educational activities- including giving periodic Medical Grand Rounds lectures to faculty, fellows, residents, and students. · Participate in quarterly evaluations of fellows-in-training. · Participate in quality initiatives and improvement projects. · Participate with fellows in research opportunities or self-directed research. · Comply promptly with billing, documentation, credentialing, and other administrative requirements. · Engage in service...
