STATUS: Part Time LOCATION: Rochester General Hospital: DEPARTMENT: Behavioral Health: SCHEDULE: Varies, 10 hour shifts: SUMMARY: Provides emergency mental health evaluations, crisis intervention, milieu management and dispositional planning for patients needing assessment and intervention in a variety of clinical or community settings Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing OR Master Degree in human service field OR PhD/PsyD required. 2 years relevant experience preferred Required New York State Licensure / Certification Skills: LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT, permit or license required OR: RN license required If PhD/PsyD.is held, no license required. Key Responsibilities: Provides Emergency mental health evaluations. With the psychiatrists supervision, acts as consultant to assist patient and clinical team with Behavioral Health subject matter expertise Provides crisis and /or acute mental health intervention to patients presenting to the psychiatric emergency department setting in collaboration with family and significant others.
