CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT ENGINEER TARKETT is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join the team at the Florence Campus. This position is focused on removing waste from the value stream. This includes improving existing processes to remove unwanted waste as well as reducing or eliminating Cost of Poor-Quality issues within processes. This position reports to the Quality Manager. What this role is responsible for: - Manage the campus Kaizen program. - Perform Value Stream Mapping to capture waste throughout processes. - Own the Cost of Poor-Quality cost reduction program with a focus on the operating systems at Tarkett. - Work directly with the supply chain team to remove waste and reduce material cost. - Act as a change agent in the organization by driving change and implementing continuous improvement processes, while utilizing and improving existing methodologies. - Collect and analyze data on plant processes, procedures, and performance using evaluation tools and make recommendations for improvement to Leadership Team. - Analyze, develop, ratify, implement, and standardize manufacturing best practices across the network - Prioritize and select appropriate CI projects that h...
