Lexington Hotel NYC Position Type: Full-Time: The Engineering Manager is responsible for assisting in maintaining the building and grounds with particular attention towards safety, security, and asset protection. Furthermore, this role assigns, tracks and follows up on status of work assigned to staff and contractors as needed and helps to increase guest and team member satisfaction through effective communications and training. This role will also assist in managing budget, capital expenditures, preventative maintenance, and energy conservation. Responsibilities: •Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with team members •Monitor timeliness and quality of completion of repair work orders •Assist in managing and inspecting the physical property including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical and life safety systems •Determine work required to above systems regulary •Assist in providing regular on-going communication with team members in order to create awareness of business objectives, communicate expectations, and recognize performance •Recommend or arrange for additional services such as painting, repair work, renovations, and the...
