Description The Accounting Clerk is responsible for providing essential administrative and clerical support to the accounting department. This role involves a variety of tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and financial document processing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in accounting software. Responsibilities: - Process accounts payable and receivable invoices - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records - Prepare and reconcile bank statements - Assist with general ledger entries and account reconciliations - Prepare financial reports and analysis as needed - File and organize financial documents - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries related to accounting matters - Other duties as assigned Qualifications: - Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity. - Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
