Production Planner

Job description

Overview The Production Planner is accountable for planning and coordinating the work of employees engaged in the assembly, fabrication, testing, repair, and inspection of electronic components and systems. Responsibilities include determining production capacity, scheduling project production timelines, and collaborating with the Operations Manager. Responsibilities: - Coordinate and generate daily production schedules (day shift/night shift) for the activities of workers who assemble, fabricate, inspect and test electronic and electromechanical assemblies, parts and components. - Evaluate workforce and machine capacity to meet production targets, coordinating with management to address labor needs - Ensuring production teams meet critical deadlines. - Create, maintain and adjust long term and short term production schedules to meet customer demand and sale forecast. - Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and decrease costs. - Monitor performance against schedules/plans. - Use workers and resources in the most effective manner. - Requisition materials and supplies. - Ensure safety rules and regulations are followed. - Generate reports to track on...
