Job DetailsJob Location: 0081 St. John Mary Vianney Parish, Kirkland - Kirkland, WA 98034Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $17.25 - $17.25 Hourly4's Class Assistant General: Arrive a minimum of 20 minutes ahead of scheduled class for the teacher to fill you in. Please leave the classroom the way you’d like to find it in the morning. As an assistant you are the most valuable person to the teacher in the classroom. Classroom tasks: Help set up craft projects and chairs Prepare snacks and set out placemats, napkins, cups and fill water containers Greet children if teacher is still busy, otherwise engage with the students as they enter the room. Check that the outside door is locked Assist children with projects, read stories and play with children as needed for the day Never have your back to the class – if the teacher is busy at the craft table, play with the rest of the children in the room. Take children to the bathroom, music and seeds DO NOT leave children unattended in the bathroom or hallway. Wipe/sanitize tables before setting up snack and/or lunch. Check for gold stickers on the placemats-they indicate a food allergy Wipe/ disinfect placemats and tables after snack/lunch...
