Responsibilities include conducting psychiatric, neurological, and physical assessments; reviewing diagnostic results; and developing and managing individualized treatment plans. The psychiatrist collaborates with physicians, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and other clinical staff, participates in treatment team meetings, and consults with internal and external healthcare providers as well as patients’ families or legally authorized representatives regarding patient care.
