Geology Director 1 (Division Director)

Job description

GAI is seeking a Geology Director (Division Director) to lead the firm’s Environmental Assessment and Hydrogeology Division, which resides within the Power Generation Business Sector of GAI’s Energy Business Unit. This position is responsible for developing new business, maintaining existing client bases, and overseeing the technical and financial performance of the Environmental Assessment and Hydrogeology Division. Responsibilities: Business Development : Up to 20% of time may be dedicated to Business Development. Division Management : Up to 10% of time may be dedicated to managing the Environmental Assessment and Hydrogeology Division. Technical Delivery : Up to 50% of job duties are dedicated to technical delivery of work. Project Management : Up to 20% of job duties are dedicated to directly managing projects. - Actively pursues work from new and existing clients by building and maintaining customer relationships, monitoring future work opportunities, communicating regularly, attending client events, developing proposals, and directly negotiating with clients.
