CTPNW FIMU-IMU Assessor Secondment 2 Years Fixed Term Contract GMP Grade H - £40,383 - £42,612 + 13.66% Equalisation Allowance Full Time OCC Speke Vetting Required - MV & DV Introduction: Counter Terrorism Policing North West (CTPNW) is a five-force collaboration delivering Counter Terrorism (CT) services to our regional forces as well as forming part of the national CT Network. CTPNW’s mission is to work together to keep people safe from terrorism. We are looking for a committed and outstanding individual who can support CTPNW in achieving its mission. Information about the specific role: The FIMU is the backbone of Counter Terrorism Policing and regular liaison with other CTP teams, local policing, and external partners is routine. The Merseyside FIMU is comprised of two teams of officers and staff, each led by a Detective Sergeant or an Intelligence Supervisor. As the ‘front door’ into CTPNW, the FIMU is responsible for the assessment of incoming intelligence to determine CT relevancy and assess the necessity for any further action or development.
