Job description

Job Description: Key Responsibilities Machine Operation & Setup: - Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment according to job specifications. - Load and unload sheet metal materials onto the machine bed using forklifts or material handling equipment. - Select and install proper cutting nozzles and adjust focus and lens as needed. - Run production programs and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency. Programming & Troubleshooting: - Interpret blueprints, DXF files, and work orders to determine machine settings and cutting parameters. - Make minor edits to CNC programs using controller interface when required. - Identify and troubleshoot machine errors, alarms, and material issues. - Collaborate with programmers or engineers to resolve technical problems. Quality Control: - Perform first-article inspections and check part dimensions using calipers, tape measures, and gauges. - Monitor cut quality, edge condition, and part flatness throughout production. - Ensure that parts meet tolerance and quality standards before moving to the next operation.
