Overview The Microcircuit Emulation Center at SRI International in Princeton, NJ, needs a Manufacturing Technician , that will work as part of a small team to perform experimentation and operational steps in a semiconductor wafer fabrication facility. Through SRI's Generalized Emulation of Microcircuits (GEM) and Advanced Microcircuit Emulation (AME) programs, the Microcircuit Emulation Center supplies form, fit, function, and interface replacements for obsolete microcircuits. This capability supports production, redesign, and sustainment requirements for the life of a weapon system. SRI’s Microcircuit Emulation Center is a government-supported, U.S.-based Trusted foundry. Responsibilities: - Performing hands on operational work in a cleanroom environment through computer operated terminals at production machines that are used to create microcircuits. - Learn rules and regulations for working safely and in line with quality requirements in a cleanroom environment. - Learn and use software programs to support creation of manufacturing process steps, data collection and presentation. - Perform experiments, and execute operational steps to collect and analyze data using metrology equi...
