Amentum is seeking an Intermediate Counterintelligence Officer to support our U.S. Department of Energy and Counterintelligence (DOE-IN) contract. Positions will be based in the Denver, CO area. Responsibilities Serves as Counterintelligence Officer (CIO), specific duties and functions include, but are not limited to, the following: - Conducting CI/Counter Terrorism (CT) investigations across the DOE complex. - Works closely with the FBI and the USIC to assist in any ongoing espionage, terrorism, or related operations and investigations at responsible facilities. - Serve as liaison and interface with DOE facility management and local law enforcement agencies surrounding the assigned facility. - Provides case-related updates to the Senior Counterintelligence Officer (SCIO), facilities senior management and other DOE CI executives. - Provides CI/CT defensive briefings and debriefings to Departmental personnel in foreign intelligence and terrorist activities/threats. - Serve as primary point of contact with scientific community departments within the DOE complex for the purpose of proactively mitigating foreign intelligence and terrorist activities/threats.
