Job description
Key Responsibilities: - Develop ultrasonic and electromagnetic inspection systems for tubular goods. - Design and implement new procedures and methodologies for nondestructive testing. - Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers on equipment design, manufacturing, and testing. - Investigate and resolve inspection challenges encountered in field operations. - Communicate technical findings and technical suggestions through detailed reports and presentations. - Support Operations with ultrasonic scan plans and address customer inquiries and technical issues. Qualifications: - 5–10 years of relevant industrial experience in ultrasonic (UT) nondestructive testing. - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Engineering, Mathematics (with specialization in ultrasound/NDT), or a related field. - Experience with phased array ultrasonic testing and/or electromagnetic inspection methods (e.g., magnetic flux leakage, eddy current) is preferred. - Experience in design, development of nondestructive evaluation (NDE) systems, and testing of NDE components and systems. - Demonstrated ability to perform both analytical and experimental research. - Working knowledge of programm...
