Provides nursing support with various functions such as; invasive procedures, medication administration, performing appointment and registration scheduling functions. Assists the RN with clinical clerical functions. Ensures smooth work and patient flow within the clinic. Essential Functions: (10%) Education : - Accurately and efficiently takes vital signs and basic historical patient data. Identifies abnormal patient findings. Communicates patient concerns or significant changes in patient’s health status to provider or RN. (10%) - Assists provider in setting up for procedures including aseptic and sterile techniques; provides safe administration of medications and immunizations (oral, IM, subcutaneous, and/or intradermal); obtains EKGs, orders appropr...
