Makerspace Technology Specialist Overview: Provide direct support for the Ithaca College Makerspace , a unit within IT where users collaborate, learn and explore Makerspace technology in a welcoming, multidisciplinary environment. Staff the IC Makerspace and Digital Media Lab (DML), provide support to clients, conduct training tutorials and workshops, and assist with maintaining the spaces. The role is highly creative and offers the opportunity for deep hands-on experience with Makerspace tools and technology. - Time Commitment : Approximately 8-12 hours/week (2 hour blocks of time or more) - Hours : Monday – Friday, 11am – 7pm. Saturdays: 12pm – 4pm - Superviso r: Ash Bailot, abailot@ithaca.edu - Location : Friends Hall 102 – Makerspace, Job 102 – Digital Media Lab - Pay Rate : $16.00/hr Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities: - Consult with and assist students, staff and faculty with creative projects in the Makerspace and Digital Media Lab.
