Job Title: Instructor of Mathematics Hiring Range: $43,731 - $52,479: Campus Location: Walters State Community College -Morristown Campus ( Employees are assigned to a “home” location but may occasionally or regularly be required to work at other WSCC locations.) Job Purpose: The overall purpose of the Instructor of Mathematics is to teach college and learning support level mathematics courses. Essential Job Functions: - Teach day and/or evening classes, both off and on campuses to include dual enrollment classes at area high schools in conventional and alternate delivery modes (e.g., web-based, virtual, accelerated schedule). - Participate in advising, retention, and student success initiatives to support the WSCC Mission and Vision. - Participate in curriculum development, student recruiting, departmental meetings and college committees. - Complete goals and objectives for the individual and division in support of the WSCC Mission and Vision. - Complete educational outcome measures and academic reporting as required. - Participate in professional growth, leadership and community involvement to support the WSCC Mission and Vision. - Perform other related duties as required.
