Weston & Sampson is currently seeking a motivated Environmental Scientist/Geologist with 0-3 years of experience to join our Environmental, Geotechnical, and Energy (EGE) discipline in our Rocky Hill, CT office. The prospective candidate must have a strong work ethic and demonstrate a willingness to be part of a growing team. Ideally the candidate will reside in the greater Rocky Hill area and have the ability to work in a hybrid environment (office and remote). Our EGE discipline is comprised of environmental scientists, engineers, and geologists who want to make a difference by enhancing, protecting, and sustaining the natural and built environment to improve the quality of life. . What you’ll do: - Conduct Phase I/II/III Environmental Site Assessments consistent with ASTM standards and CT DEEP guidance/regulations - Provide oversight and collect samples during the drilling of soil borings, installation of monitoring wells, removal of underground storage tanks, and remedial activities (Assignments may require long hours of field work) - Collect samples for field screening and/or laboratory analysis (air, soil, groundwater, and water) - Manage analytical data (tabulation, evaluati...
