TITLE: Buyer POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Buyer will be a detail-orientated person working within the purchasing department to source, negotiate and procure raw materials required for production while managing inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Microsoft Office – intermediate level 2. Excel – advanced level 3. Inventory system software - intermediate level - Minimum of 3-years of experience in a manufacturing environment - Strong math, written, verbal and analytical skills - Excellent computer skills - Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with peers and functional teams. - Demonstrated confidentiality and the ability to represent the company in a professional manner. - Ability to work independently and take on new challenges - Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary. - Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
