ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: The Engineering Technician is responsible for hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of electronic and electro-mechanical systems used in satellite and ground equipment. This role sits between a traditional technician and an engineer, combining practical manufacturing work with a strong understanding of systems, testing, and problem-solving. The position involves working closely with engineers on hardware builds, supporting integration and test activities, and contributing to the development of manufacturing and AIT processes. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS: Assembly & Integration (AIT): - Perform hands-on assembly and integration of electronic and electro-mechanical systems - Integrate subsystems into larger assemblies following engineering documentation - Support prototype builds and low-volume satellite production PCBA / SMT Manufacturing Support: - Operate and support SMT production processes (printing, pick-and-place, reflow) - Perform PCB assembly, soldering, and component replacement - Conduct inspection according to IPC-A-610 standards - Perform rework, repair, and modification according to IPC-7711/7721 Harness Assembly: - Assemb...
