Patient Safety Program Specialist

Job description

As the Patient Safety Program Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the success of patient safety related quality improvement initiatives across a designated region in nursing homes. This is a remote position and the ideal candidate lives in Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Montana, Missouri, Nebraska, Oregon, or Wyoming. However, Telligen will consider internal candidates in other states. What you'll do: - Support a team of Quality Improvement Advisors (QIAs) to ensure the delivery of effective technical assistance (TA), achievement of project goals, and compliance with deliverables. - Serve as a subject matter expert in topic areas such as medication safety, infection prevention and control, risk assessments, and safety events/policies, working with state and regional leadership teams to standardize processes, identify opportunities for improvement, address challenges, and ensure the alignment of interventions with organizational and project-wide goals. - You will also be responsible for state, regional, and national partner engagement across the region, including ongoing support of relationships and collaborative activities.
