CNC Programmer - 3rd Shift

Job description

This is a 3rd shift position. SUMMARY: Maintains CNC equipment and responsible for programing and set up of Haas 3-axis & 5-axis CNC machines. Machine steel components and tooling to support a production automotive facility. Additionally, supports all preventative maintenance programs by performing the following duties within an automotive environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties and Responsibilities: - Programming CNC code from provided 3D CAD data utilizing Mastercam 2024-2025 software - Setting up appropriate machining tools, offsets and materials as required - Operating CNC machines and verifying finished components as required - Ability to build one-off components to 3D models, not production machining - Operate other toolroom equipment as needed, i.e., manual mill, manual lathe, surface grinder, overhead crane, saw, etc. - Interacting with Design Engineers/Project Leaders/Toolmakers/Apprentices to develop manufacturable components with an eye for product improvement and potential build issu...
