Description The Department of Neurology at the University of Washington Medical Center is hiring a faculty position to specialize in movement disorders neurology as part of our expanding program in Seattle, WA. Our division works closely with Neurosurgery through a mature and busy Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) program, and we are recognized as Centers of Excellence for multiple conditions, including Huntington’s disease, Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia, and Spinocerebellar Ataxia. This position will be expected to demonstrate excellence in patient care, community with colleagues, eagerness to teach learners across all levels of training, and commitment to engagement with the populations we serve through patient education events and support groups. Candidates with an interest in expanding our clinical research portfolio in movement disorders are particularly encouraged to apply. Primary responsibilities will include outpatient care within the UWMC Montlake Movement Disorders Clinic.
