JOB SUMMARY: Under LIMITED supervision, the Distribution Tech is able to perform the following: Must acquire the technical knowledge necessary to understand medical terminology and interact with nurses and physician about product needs and substitutes when back orders arise. Perform all required computer skills necessary to enter pick tickets, pull supplies, issue supplies, pull supply requisitions request from department generated reports, adjust inventories when discrepancies exist, do cycle counts, update nursing stock par forms and be detail oriented to ensure inventory accuracy. Use the proper lifting techniques when pulling and putting away medical supplies to ensure Associates safety. Work independently on weekends. Cross train to help out on Loading dock/receiving function and Linen distribution to cover vacations and sick days. Good phone etiquette.
