School of Mechanical and Mining Engineering – Faculty of EAIT Full-time (100%), Permanent position: Base salary will be in the range $83,776.44 - $93,121.41 + 17% super (HEW Level 5) Based at our St Lucia Campus - Brisbane About This Opportunity: We are seeking a motivated and efficient Student and Academic Administration Officer to join our team. You will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of the administrative functions of the School. Key responsibilities will include: Provide high-level administrative support to students, academic staff and professional colleagues within the School. Deliver timely and accurate advice in line with University policies, procedures and legislation. Act as the first point of contact for enquiries, resolving routine and complex matters. Process student administration including applications, extensions, deferred exams, enrolment and remarks. Support academic administration (course profiles, Blackboard updates, exams and grade processing). Coordinate meetings, projects and events, while maintaining systems, procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
