The Division of Sidewalk & Inspection Management (SIM) seeks an experienced and innovative candidate to serve as Assistant Commissioner (A/C) for the Citywide Concrete (CWC), Builder’s Waiver Program (BWP), Compliance, and Performance Assessment Budget Unit. This individual will play a critical role in coordinating with other DOT units to support the goals of Vision Zero and the agency’s Street Safety Plan. SIM is responsible for maintaining the city's 12,760 miles of sidewalks and approximately 162,000 pedestrian ramps.
