Description Under the general supervision of the Dentist, the Dental Hygienist provides licensed dental hygiene services, including oral prophylaxis, in a specialized dental oncology setting. This role is centered on compassionate, patient-focused care and offers the opportunity to meaningfully improve comfort, oral health, and quality of life for individuals undergoing cancer treatment-many of whom face significant barriers to accessing dental care. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: This position is ideal for a compassionate, detail-oriented dental hygienist who is interested in working with oncology patients and contributing to comprehensive, patient-centered care. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (Medium): 20-50 lbs; 0-33% of the work day (occasionally); 11-25 lbs, 34-66% of the workday (frequently); 01-10 lbs, 67-100% of the workday (constantly); Lifting 50 lbs max; Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs; Occasional to frequent standing & walking, Occasional sitting, Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing), Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
