Position Summary: Provide administrative support to the unit. ***NEW Freestanding Emergency Department in Deerfield Beach! (340 S. Federal Highway opening May 2026) This position is a 12-nightshiftt 7 pm to 7:30 am (scheduled days rotate throughout the weekdays; includes alternating weekends). What You Will Do: Initiate and receive communications from Nursing Unit Director or designated Charge Nurse and Nursing Unit staff verbally, via telephone, mail, pneumatic tube, and computer system. Communicate effectively with patients or their families to meet the needs of the population served. Assemble new charts, record specified clinical information, file reports, imprint forms in clinical record, check discharge chart for completion by nurse responsible, maintains patient records. Operates computer for transcribing diagnostic orders and other computer transactions as resented. Maintains pertinent hospital data and records. Orders and maintains supplies for the nursing unit.
