We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our teams in Philadelphia, PA 19119. This role is first shift, Monday - Friday 8:30a - 4:30p. Earn $20.16/hr.!: Position Details: The position will be responsible for obtaining physical health measure information (e.g., height, weight, BMI, blood pressure, etc.) from individuals upon admission to Merakey’s Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), prior to medication checks with psychiatric staff, and at other times depending upon program requirements. The medical assistant will need to be able to complete data entry into Avatar, Merakey's Electronic Health Record (EHR), and support psychiatry staff. The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing support to Psychiatrists, Physicians, and Medical Directors on a daily basis that allows for the treating physician to provide the highest quality of client care while maintaining the appropriate administrative support.
