St. Joan of Arc, located in Aberdeen, Maryland , is seeking to hire a full-time Social Studies and ELA Teacher for the 2026–2027 academic school year. The Social Studies & ELA Teacher will serve as a full-time teacher in our 4th and 5th grade Catholic School. The teacher is responsible for planning and implementing standard based lessons as prescribed by the Archdiocese of Baltimore. This is a full-time, benefit eligible, 10-month teaching position. Essential Functions: - Maintain high professional standards consistent with the Catholic mission of the school. - Plan and deliver engaging daily lessons for elementary-age students. - Monitor and evaluate student outcomes. - Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment. - Strive to meet the needs, interests, and abilities of every student. - Integrate technology into the classroom. - Communicate effectively with parents, responding to inquiries in an empathetic and timely manner. - Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, parents, and community members in educating students.
