Chemistry Technician

Job description

Description The position is that of a Chemistry technician supporting the activities of the Chemistry group. All activities take place in an interdisciplinary environment with scientists, engineers, and professionals from various fields, working together. The technician will be responsible for operating a quality assurance lab based on existing testing systems developed by the chemistry research and development team. He will manage daily testing routines for all ceramic systems operating in the forefront of the process development, input real-time data into various work systems, track test results, and report on problems. Duties and Responsibilities: · Conduct QA tests on incoming raw materials. · Conduct QA tests on raw materials during the storage period (for materials with a long storage time). · Perform various QC tests to monitor ceramic quality during preparation, mixing, and printing. · Input results data to engineers at workstations and maintain direct communication with engineers to ensure consistency between measurement results and observed results in the field.
