Work location: This role is based in California or New Orleans, with the possibility of hybrid or fully remote work for highly qualified candidates with strong themed entertainment and CAD experience. Role summary: The Attraction Layout & Visualization Designer is responsible for creating detailed 2D plans and 3D visualizations for large-scale festivals, immersive attractions, and touring events. They develop multi-layer CAD drawings and digital models that place all key show and site elements—stages, rides, tents, guest areas, back-of-house, life-safety features, and infrastructure—while meeting city, state, and venue requirements. This role combines production-focused CAD drafting, as seen in festival CAD Designer positions, with themed entertainment CAD practices used for shows, parades, and special events at major parks.
