Description Employment Status: Temporary: FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly (unless otherwise specified) Summary: A substitute teacher is responsible for enabling each child to pursue his or her education as smoothly and completely as possible in the absence of his or her regular teacher. A substitute teacher is responsible for carrying out the lesson plans of the regular teacher and meeting the duties of teaching as outlines in the policies of the school and Archdiocese of San Antonio.
