Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia’s future. Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units, our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer, a major service partner to Defence. Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security. We currently have an opportunity for an Engineering Manager in Canberra, ACT to work on Maritime SATCOM sustainment projects. What You’ll Do: This role offers a broad scope, with key role responsibilities including: - Support the planning and execution of sustainment schedules for Maritime SATCOM products including MASTIS, GX100 and Fleet Broadband - Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment across engineering, project, and capability functions - Provide technical guidance and input to capability, project and product managers - Support technical certification activities, including ICT Security requirements - Lead engineering governance activities including engineering investigations, ECP development/r...
