Reports to Director, Pharmacy: Position Supervises N/A: Job Summary Supervises and monitors the selection, utilization, dispensation and administration of all pharmaceuticals to the patients of Butler Memorial Hospital. Assures quality patient care by providing rational, accurate, and cost-effective drug therapy. Minimum: Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy Preferred: Doctorate of Pharmacy Registration/Certification/Licensure Current PA Pharmacist License: Experience Minimum: Clinical rotation through educational program. Preferred: Six months experience in a hospital setting. Other Requirements N/A: Status Exempt Essential Functions: Performs accurate and detailed work within specified time periods. Works cooperatively with health system and pharmacy staff to meet the pharmaceutical care needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Prioritizes work, resolves problems effectively, and provides timely responses to emergency requests. Responds appropriately to frequent interruptions and adapts to changes in workload and work schedule. Utilizes effective verbal and written communication techniques.
