Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Lead development of entity or system-wide budgets and multi-year forecasts 2. Design and oversee cost accounting methodologies and decision support tools 3. Prepare comprehensive proformas for major capital investments and strategic initiatives 4. Conduct in-depth financial modeling and scenario analysis for executive decision-making 5. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and board committees 6. Mentor and train Financial Analyst I and II team members; lead special projects 7. Attends all required safety training programs and can describe his/her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, specific job-related hazards, and national patient safety goals 8.
