What impact you’ll make: ​The Assembler A will align, erect, assemble, fit components of unit, compressor, turbine rotors, stators, bearings and main gas turbine unit (New Make and Repair – Disassemble and Assemble). Job Description: What you’ll do: - Align, erect, assemble, fit components of unit, compressor, turbine rotors, stators, bearings and main gas turbine unit (New Make and Repair– Disassemble and Assemble) - May be required to obtain Overhead Crane Operator License (175/200 ton capacity) and make various crane moves/assemblies, including a variety of turbine components. - Read and interpret blueprints, material lists, planning and methods specifications, and related shop documents. - Manually or with jib, floor crane, hoists, etc., position and align rotor or unit components and accessories and drill, ream, dowel, fit, bolt up, etc. - Make nece...
